TapoWise is a personal knowledge management application. We provide a desktop application for capturing and organizing notes locally, and an optional cloud synchronization service (TwiceSync) for syncing your vault across devices.

The desktop application stores all data locally on your device. TwiceSync stores encrypted copies of your vault on our infrastructure.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

You must be at least 16 years old to use TapoWise.

You own your data. TapoWise does not claim any ownership over the content you create, store, or sync through our services.

When using TwiceSync, your data is end-to-end encrypted. We cannot access the content of your vault. You are responsible for remembering your encryption password — we cannot recover it.

TwiceSync is a paid service billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are displayed before purchase and may change with 30 days' notice.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

We strive for 99.9% uptime for TwiceSync but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The desktop application works fully offline and is not affected by server availability.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where possible.

TapoWise is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for data loss — while we take every precaution, you should maintain your own backups.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.
